We're pretty stoked to be attending WMC Fest this year. Here's what they have to say:
Now in its 2nd year, WMC Fest is quickly becoming a must-attend event for creatives in the Midwest. Its goal is to inspire and enable the creative mind and will feature 20 speakers, 20 designers, and 20 bands over the weekend. Put on by the Cleveland based creative agency Go Media and a host of volunteers, it’s got that homegrown, indie vibe that sets it apart from other major conferences. Come to WMC Fest to network, collaborate, get inspired, learn new tricks, and meet new friends! At the cost of only $15 or less, you can’t miss it!
Not only will it be a great opportunity to meet some great local (and national) talent and hear some great local (and national) music, but this guy will be there to drop some knowledge:

That, dear readers, is Aaron (MF-ing) Draplin. For those of you who don't know, Mr. Draplin runs a studio out of Portland, Oregon. He loves Futura Bold, the color Orange, and hard work. His philosophy is simple. “Work hard. Do good work. For good people.” He got some press a few years ago for a surly little video interview with/about him. We're pretty pumped to hear him talk and maybe meet him. I bet he's got a firm handshake.
But wait, there's more! In addition to great music and speakers, WMC Fest is holding a design show. A bunch of super-talented folks (including Draplin) will be showing their goods and pushing their wares. Most of the spots have been taken, but there's a vote going on to decide the last remaining folks to display their work. We're going for it! Vote for us!
Hope to see you there...

If you're in St. Augustine Beach, be sure to visit The Original Café 11. The food is incredible, Ryan brings in some pretty amazing shows, and the Dettra family runs the place with honesty and integrity. Not to mention, (most of) our posters line the walls.
We can't say enough nice things about this place.
